The actress looked bright and joyful on the red carpet for the Art of Elysium in a yellow Missoni gown.  Joy was fresh faced and cheerful.  She finished off her bright gown with an ivory Bally clutch and yellow David Yurman earrings and bracelet.

The Heroes actress also attended the Art of the Elysium gala in Los Angeles.  Ali wore a black Ralph Lauren Collection gown and paired it with a black clutch and Cartier jewels.  Her side-swept curls and classic gown is reminiscent of the Old Hollywood.

Salma Hayek wore the Stella McCartney down with a black beaded headpiece to a Hollywood event last year.  Amanda Seyfried wore the same dress to the Golden Globes last Sunday.  Who rocks the Stella McCartney dress better?

If you’re a girl, chances are you played with Barbie when you younger (although I did make my cousin, who’s a boy, play with Barbie with me – but I played with cars, guns, and all that other boy stuff with him, so it’s only fair).  Anyways, Barbie turns 50 this year, can you believe it?  She certainly looks great, but then again, she’s made out of plastic.  To celebrate Barbie’s 50th birthday, Mattel and Stila have collaborated to put out the Barbie Loves Stila collection.  The collection consist of four different beauty cans and a talking palette.  Each beauty can commemorates Barbie’s history throughout the years – #1 Ponytail Doll (1959), Malibu Doll (1971), Foxy Doll (1980), and Jewel Doll (2000).

The collection doesn’t officially launch until February, but it’s pre-launch on Sephora.com now.  If you’re interested in the collection, you better hurry, since it’s only available for a limited time – only 10,000 beauty cans were created.  The collection will be available exclusively at Sephora’s 5th Ave store in New York, Sephora international stores, and Sephora.com.    

Here’s the what’s included in the collection:

#1 Ponytail Doll (1959)

• 3 pan palette with deep blue eyeshadow with white shimmer, matte black eyeshadow, and a luminous coral cheek color
• liquid eye liner in black
• lip color in ponytail – a matte cherry red
