Next month, Dolce & Gabbana will officially launch its very first cosmetics line.  Now you can be decked out in Dolce & Gabbana from head to toe – from clothes to fragrances to shoes to handbags to makeup to various accessories.  And which Hollywood starlet or model shall be the very first face of Dolce & Gabbana makeup line?  Well, it’s none other than Scarlett Johansson.  The fashion duo tapped Scarlett to be the face of their collection because “Scarlett is sure of herself.  She’s a beautiful girl, but she’s really easygoing.  She is very Dolce & Gabbana.”

The colors of the collection will range from vivid blues to burgundies to blacks and golds taking inspiration from the Mediterranean, Stromboli, and Gabbana’s favorite flower, the dahlia.  Each product will be enclosed in shiny gold cases.  But what’s noteworthy about the collection is the rose-scented lipstick and the peppery fragrance mascara.  Hmmm…I can get behind the scented lipstick, but I’m unsure about a scented mascara.  The collection will also include a powder foundation, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow duos, eye liner, lip liner, lip gloss, and nail polish.

The collection will hit Saks in February and will be priced between $20 – $59.  The fashion duo also hinted that if the makeup line is a success, a skin care line will likely follow.
