New York Fashion Week, Spring 2010: BCBG Max Azria

The BCBG Max Azria Spring 2010 Collection is all about dresses. I didn’t spot a single pair of pants on the runway. But you know, I’m certainly not complaining, I love dresses (which is quite ironic, since I hated being force to wear dresses when I was younger, go figure)! There’s an array of varying hemlines, from minis to maxis to asymmetricals. The collection also featured a lot of prints and body-con dresses. I love the vibrant, vivid colors. They’re so bright and cheery. The geometric color blocking gave the dresses a modern feel. Peek-a-boo cut-outs overlaid with chiffons added a sexy edge. My favorite pieces of the collection is the cobalt blue dress with the cut-outs and chiffon overlays and rouching and the coral dress with peek-a-boo cuts and a flesh overlay – oh so sexy.

There’s such a variety of dresses in this collection, there really is something for everyone. This collection is sexy, youthful, and feminine.

eBay Find of the Week: Purple Suede DKNY Purse

DKNY This purple suede DKNY bag is perfect. The color is great for the upcoming fall season. It’s a perfect way to add a pop of color to your outfit. And it’s suede! So luxe. The bag is big, but not too big, so it would be great for everyday use or even school. To be honest, I don’t usually go for colorful purses, but lately I’ve been gravitating towards them more and more. This is a great addition to your wardrobe.

On this week’s episode fo Project Runway, the models were the clients. The designers had to design a dress for their models to wear to an industry party.

Althea won the challenge and Qristal was auf. Althea’s outfit was cute, but it wasn’t my favorite out of the bunch. I have issues with the top not being supporitve enough. I wonder why Heidi called out Epperson’s outfit for lack of support, but didn’t do it for Althea’s. And does anyone else get Carrie from Sex and the City from Ra’mon’s creation? Which look was your favorite?
