Jemma Kidd is a former model turned makeup artist.  She also founded a popular makeup school in London.  Kidd also developed her own makeup and tool line.  In 2008, she launched a budget friendly line, JK Jemma Kid, sold exculsively at Target.  Most recently she released a book, Jemma Kidd Make-up Masterclass: Beauty Bible of Professional Techniques and Wearable Looks.  Here are some tips she shared:

I apply lip stain before lipstick.  It helps you avoid that super pale look your lips get when the color wears off.
