Remember the first images we got of the highly and I do mean highly anticipated Sex and the City sequel?  It was of Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a fabulous white Halston dress.  She also wears it on the promotional poster for the movie.  Well maybe that wasn’t just a coincidence.  WWD reports that the actress has just signed a deal with the legendary fashion house.  Parker signed a deal with Halston to take on a design role for their secondary collection, Halston Heritage.    The recently launched Heritage features archival Halston looks.  The Halston line will still be designed by Marios Schweb.

This isn’t Parker’s first time at the design table.  She also had an affordable line with Steve & Barry in 2007 called Bitten.

Can’t wait to see what she comes up with for Halston Heritage.
