Cate Blanchett looked utterly divine at the SK-II gala in Beijing. The actress wore a stunning vintage Christian Lacroix Couture gown from Decades. The look was so sophisticated and regal. I’m in awe of it. From the moment that I laid eyes on Cate in this magnificent deep burgundy gown with gold crystal sequin embellishments, I knew it would be my pick for Belle of the Year. How can it not be? She looks fabulous! I would kill for this dress, but I doubt that I could pull it off half as well as Ms. Blanchett.
Penelope Cruz wore a gorgeous Elie Saab Spring 2010 gown to the closing of the Cannes Film Festival. The nude embroidered strapless lace gown was sexy and elegant. And it was oh so romantic – which is what the Elie Saab Spring 2010 collection was all about.
Rachel Bilson attended the Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary Party wearing a show-stopper of a dress. She wore a leopard print gown from the Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2010 collection. The gown was so sexy! I love how she wore one of the straps down. A well matched red clutch was the perfect compliment to the sultry ensemble.
Little Elle Fanning might only be twelve, but she’s walking down red carpets in couture pieces that any one – regardless of age – might find enviable. At the Somewhere New York premiere the young actress wore an edgy tan suede and gold leather embossed dress from the Rodarte Spring 2011 collection. She kept the runway styling and completed the look with the same Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte metallic wedges and white see-through socks.
