Selma Blair attended the LA premiere of Middle Men in a cute LBD. I like the sheer overlay, it kept the Stella McCartney dress from being just another strapless number. It’s pretty. I also really loved her Alexander McQueen Heart Peep-toes simply because of the bright yellow soles. Love the little pop of color that the shoes as well as her burgundy clutch added. Everything about the look was simple, from the retro curls to the LBD to the minimal accessories, but it was simple with a twist which kept it from being boring.

Angelina Jolie wowed in red at the Russian premiere of Salt. She looked ah-mazing in the Atelier Versace gown. Love how the wind is playing with the train of the dress in this picture – simply beautiful. The halter dress in itself is pretty simple, but the color is what makes it. It’s nice to see Angelina in some color. So far, this is the only time she has deviated from black or black and white on the Salt promotional tour. The tour isn’t over yet, so let’s hope for more moments like this and a little less black…
Being a Victoria’s Secret model, Heidi Klum is prone to the short and tight style, so it was nice to see her change it up a bit for the Project Runway Season 8 Premiere Party. Heidi sported a white Givenchy jumpsuit and paired it with black cropped jacket – just like how it was presented on the Spring 2010 runway. The supermodel finished off the look with a fabulous pair of YSL Trib Two’s. Love how her red shoes popped against her classic black and white ensemble.
Chelsea Clinton was every inch the fairytale princess bride in a custom Vera Wang. I absolutely love, love, LOVE the dress! I’m usually not one for wedding gowns, but when it’s done right…wow…it can take your breath away. I would love to wear something like this if I ever get married (not that I’m planning to anytime soon). The only thing I would change in my version of the dress, I would prefer a sweetheart neckline instead, but other than that, the dress is perfect. I’m enamored with the tiers of white tulle bustled beneath the hand-stitched organza overlay and the jewel encrusted waistband. Love everything about the look – from the dress to the floor length veil. Sorry, I realize that I’m using ‘love’ a lot when describing my adoration with the gown, but I just can’t help it.

I’ll first preface this post, by saying I had no idea who Amber Heard is – I had to imdb her. And even though we have previously featured her in some of the post, I really didn’t take notice of her until the L.A. premiere of Salt. I absolutely loved her look! It was feminine. It was romantic. I love everything from the strapless Marchessa dress to the Brian Atwood heels to the loose updo! Simply j’adore!

Angelina Jolie rocked a white Versace dress at the Salt press event in Cancun. It was a refreshing change for the actress who is usually clad in black. I love white dresses, especially in the summer, and this one is really cute!
Drew Barrymore stepped out earlier this week in a feminine floral dress, which she accessorized with red peep toes and shades. The dress just screams summer, doesn’t it? It’s very easy breezy, and captures Drew’s bubbly persona.

This was a big weekend for HRH Princess Victoria of Sweeden – she got married! Well congrats to her and Daniel – or shall we say Prince Daniel as he is now known as. But what we loved best was the dress Victoria wore to her rehearsal dinner. It was so fabulous. The dress was a custom Elie Saab Couture inspired by the gown presented on the Spring 2010 Couture runway. We absolutely heart it. It was definitely fitting for a princess. How gorgeous is this dress?

We adore the strapless lace Elie Saab dress Penelope Cruz wore to the closing of the Cannes Film Festival. It’s to die for! We die! This was our favorite dress during Cannes and of course our favorite dress of the week. It was a shame though that Penelope didn’t walk down the red carpet – she snuck in the back door – cause this dress was made for the red carpet! Loves it! Penelope looks gorgeous! She looks stunning! We’re jealous. We want to look half as good and we definitely want that dress!

Cheryl Cole wowed in a mermaid Roberto Cavalli gown while attending the de Grisogono Dinner Party in Cannes. Love the train! It’s fabulous! As per usual, Cheryl’s hair and makeup was right on the mark.
I love, love, LOVE this outfit Sarah Jessica Parker is wearing. It’s so cute! I would definitely wear it in a heartbeat. The bubble hem blue Proenza Schouler dress is so cute. SJP paired it with a black long sleeve shirt, exactly like how it was shown on the Fall 2010 runway. SJP added her own flare with a pale pink blazer and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes that picked up both the pink and blue hues of her outfit. Ugh, I love it!

We weren’t really aware of Alexa Davalos until we saw pictures of the French born actress at the LA premiere of Clash of the Titans. She looked stunning in a black Ralph Lauren Spring 2009 gown. Love the juxtaposition of the masculine backless waistcoat and the feminine flowing chiffon skirt with a train. The look is strong, bold, sexy, and feminine. Alexa pulls off the look well – she looks beautiful, poised, and effortless graceful. And although the dress is black, it is far from boring – this is how you wear black. Simply marvelous…..

Victoria Beckham looks effortlessly chic in this black Fall 2010 shirtdress. We’re really loving the entire Victoria Beckham collection. The hair and makeup were on point. And the nude Brian Atwood heels were a perfect touch to complete the look. Totally fab!
Selena Gomez looks all bright and sunny for the 2010 Kids’ Choice Awards in a yellow Christian Cota chiffon dress. The silhouette, the gold beaded belt detail, and the Sergio Rossi Girandola Bis Gladiator Sandals gave the look a Grecian feel. Selena also sporty the hair trend of the moment – the side braid. The makeup was fresh and natural. The whole look was refreshing and age appropriate.
Although we might not know much about South Korean actress, Ha Ji-Won, we have to say that she looked gorge in a one-sleeved Roberto Cavalli dress at the PaekSang Art Awards. From head to toe, she looked stunningly elegant, but with a certain edge. Loves it! She is definitely working it!

We’re loving this yellow asymmetrical Lanvin dress Sarah Jessica Parker wore during ShoWest. The yellow is just so cheerful, it screams spring. One of our things on our fashion don’t list is pairing colorful dresses with black heels, so kudos to SJP for opting for blush pink heels to go with her bright yellow dress!

America Ferrera looks great at the premier of her new movie, Our Family Wedding. She looks amazing. We don’t remember the last time she looked this good, or maybe it’s perhaps we’re so used to seeing America as Betty Suarez and not America Ferrera (but we have to say Betty has been getting more chic lately and we’ll be sad to say our farewell at the end of the season – only five more episodes left!). We love everything about the vintage dress – the print, the sweetheart neckline, and the bubble hem. The dress is so cute, we want!
Leighton Meester likes to take fashion risk. Perhaps she does so to differentiate herself from her more conservative (fashion wise) TV counterpart, Blair Waldorf. In doing so, she takes some missteps and stumbles. But this time it worked for her. This is how you should work a bandage dress. The Herve Leger dress looks fab! The hair and makeup is also working. The only hiccup about this look would have to be the boots. We’re not fans of the boots, but we can see why Leighton chose them, they’re really her.
Gwyneth Paltrow was stunning in a nude one-should hand-embroidered Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown. Absolutely stunning! In the words of Rachel Zoe “we die!”

Anna Kendrick looked stunning in a white Elie Saab Couture at the 2010 Costume Designers Guild Awards. The look was classic and elegant. And we’re loving the flowing train!
Kate Hudson was all kinds of sparkly at the Burberry Prorsum show in London. The emerald green Burberry minidress was sexy and those black strappy platforms, also from Burberry, was to die for. Love the shoes! Want the shoes!

Miranda Kerr stepped out in fabulous Prada Resort 2010 ensemble this week. She looked adorably chic in the navy-accented button-down, print skirt, nude sandals, and bright blue bag. The Victoria’s Secret model wore this to renew her driver’s license in Sydney – ah the life of the chic and fabulous.

We’re not really into bubble hems anymore. We loved them in ’06, but then quickly tired of them when it became too played out. But we think Zoe Saldana pulled off the ethnic print Giambattista Valli bubble dress beautifully. She’s rocking the fun silhouette. Her green and black platforms complement her dress perfectly, and best of all, they fun!
