Anna Kendrick looked stunning in a white Elie Saab Couture at the 2010 Costume Designers Guild Awards.  The look was classic and elegant.  And we’re loving the flowing train!

Kate Hudson was all kinds of sparkly at the Burberry Prorsum show in London.  The emerald green Burberry minidress was sexy and those black strappy platforms, also from Burberry, was to die for.  Love the shoes!  Want the shoes!

Miranda Kerr stepped out in fabulous Prada Resort 2010 ensemble this week.  She looked adorably chic in the navy-accented button-down, print skirt, nude sandals, and bright blue bag.  The Victoria’s Secret model wore this to renew her driver’s license in Sydney – ah the life of the chic and fabulous.

We’re not really into bubble hems anymore.  We loved them in ‘06, but then quickly tired of them when it became too played out.  But we think Zoe Saldana pulled off the ethnic print Giambattista Valli bubble dress beautifully.  She’s rocking the fun silhouette.  Her green and black platforms complement her dress perfectly, and best of all, they fun!

Rachel McAdams looked gorge at the London premiere of Sherlock Holmes.  Her Andrew GN dress was beautiful.  And I love her hair and makeup.  The shimmery white eyeshadow and scarlet red lips worked perfectly with the loose braid.  For someone who’s not into fashion (like she recently stated in an interview), she sure knocked it out of the park with this number.

kate hudsonKate Hudson totally wowed at the London premiere of Nine in an Atelier Versace gown.  I’m not usually a fan of the mullet hemline, but I’m loving this dress.  Love the architectural aspect to it.

I know that a lot of people weren’t impressed by Kate’s hair.  But I’m loving the juxtaposition of causal, beachy hair with such a formal gown.  Also I like that the hair suits her, she kept true to her California cool, hippie vibe.

dakota fanning

Earlier this week, Dakota Fanning stepped onto the red carpet of the LA premiere of New Moon looking all grown up in a black laser-cut leather Valentino.  She definitely stole the show.  She looks sweet, sophisticated, and age appropriate (cough cough Miley Cyrus and Taylor Momsen cough cough).  Dakota’s actually the same age as my little sister, and I can imagine her in something like this.  And those red satin platform pumps are to die for!

paz vegaPaz Vega looked sexy in a black Gucci Resort ‘10 gown with a thigh high slit.  Megan Fox actually wore the same dress during her Transformers promotional tour, but Paz pulls if off way better.  The only thing I didn’t like about Paz’s outfit were her shoes, I wish she would have chosen strappy ones instead of the pumps.

lucy liuLucy Liu was a vision white in a frothy strapless Monique Lhuillier Resort 2010 gown with black piping and a black ribbon cinched at the waist at the Irene Diamond Award Gala in New York.  She looked lovely, like she was floating on a cloud.

kristen bellI loved the BCBG Max Azria dress when it came down the runway at New York Fashion Week Spring 2010 showing, so I was happy to see one of my favorite actresses (I still miss Veronica Mars, can’t believe they cancelled it!) wear it.  Kristen Bell, wore the coral mini dress with cut-outs to the German premiere of her new movie Couples Retreat.  Love the sheer panels and asymmetry of the dress.  Very cute.

imanveronica webbSupermodels really do rule to world – well, at least they ruled at the 2009 American Ballet Fall Gala.  Veronica Webb and Iman looked absolutely drop dead gorge.  I’m in love with Veronica’s Christian Siriano gown.  It’s to die for.  Love the colors, the asymmetricalness, and of course how the voluminous buble hem brought the drama.  She looked fierce.  Iman also looked glam in a sparkling sequin Donna Karan.  Iman was simply radiant.  She’s like my mom’s age and I don’t even look half as good as her – talk about unfair and depressing.

Michelle Monaghan

Michelle Monaghan looked sexy and sophisticated in a navy Rachel Roy dress at the NYC screening of Inlgourious Basterds.  The dress was simple, but oh so chic.  The bold shoulders gave it a bit of an 80s vibe, but didn’t overdo it.  The Manolo Blahnik heels was also a nice complement to the dress.

leighton meester

She might star as Queen Bee on Gossip Girl, but it was Leighton Meester not Blair Waldorf that reign Queen of the Teens on the grass carpet of the ‘09 Teen Choice Awards last Sunday.  I really love the black and white stripped Louis Vuitton dress and red patent Brian Atwood Mary.  The black, white, and red color combo is classic, yet the look was also young and fresh – perfect for the TCA.

diane krugerI adore the Atelier Versace dress that Diane Kruger wore to the L.A. premiere of the Inglourious Basterds simply for the reason that it was so unique.  The dress was embroidered with black glass fringes finished in degrade of sapphire, ruby, and amethyst colored crystals and was backless to boot.  I swear Diane always hits it out of the park.

brad pitt angelina jolie

Angelina Jolie turned up the sexy factor when she was supporting her man at the Inglourious Basterds’s L.A. premiere.  Angie wore a sexy leather Michael Kors strapless dress with pockets, Dior gladiators, and a red cocktail ring.  But of course her hottest accessory of the night was Brad Pitt.  Having Brad Pitt on you arm really couldn’t hurt your look, it could only make it hotter.  Loving the lighter hair on her as well.

The black leather dress is a little reminiscent of the leather Versace she wore to the Mr. & Mrs. Smith L.A. premiere in 2005.  But it’s a looks that works for her and to be honest, I prefer this sexy look than the billowy dresses she wore during the last award season.

diane krugerDiane Kruger looked gorgeous in a simple and sophisticated single shoulder draped Marchesa dress at the Sydney premiere of Inglourious Basterds.  Diane accessorized the red mini with sparkly Christian Louboutin pumps, an opal cuff from the House of Lavande, and a Roger Vivier minaudiere.

jessica stroupJessica Stroup looked adorably chic at the CBS CW Showtime press tour.  Love the ruffled Stella McCartney top and Malandrino tuxedo shorts combo.  Jessica also added some bling to her ensemble with gold-trimmed heels and a Jimmy Choo clutch.  It’s something I would totally wear – it’s something I want to wear!  I’m also loving the shorter ‘do on her.

rhea durham

Last weekend Rhea Durham and Mark Walhberg tied the knot.  The bride wore a lovely Machesa gown.  Although, I think the bust is a little to tight for Rhea, I’m loving this Marchesa dress as a wedding gown.  I’m all for simplistic wedding gowns over the elaborate fru fru ones, so this one is totally up my alley.  Love the natural makeup and beachy waves.  The bride was absolutely glowing and gorgeous.  If I ever get married – and that’s a big if - I would definitely go for this look.

Emma Watson has been busy out promoting her new movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and she has looked stylish every step of the way.  It seems like a new fashionista has emerged.  And to her credit, she doesn’t even have a stylist.  I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for the Brit.

emma watsonOf the various outfits that Emma rocked this week, there were two that definitely stood out.  First off, is the vintage wrap Ossie Clark dress that she donned to the London premiere of Harry Potter.  Love, love, love the diaphanous chiffon gown, it gave her a soft, ethereal look.  The flawless makeup and updo with red ribbon complemented the look perfectly.  The dress was a good choice for her.  It was sophisticated and sexy with the low neckline, but it wasn’t over the top sexy so that it would alienate her young fans.  It was very age appropriate.

emma watsonThe sheer, tiered Christopher Kane dress that Emma wore to the Late Show with David Letterman was also fabulous.  It was modern yet it was still feminine.  And you gotta love the gold-soled heels.

diane krugerDiane Kruger looked absolutely fabulous at the CDFA Awards in New York this week.  But then again, anyone who follows my belle of the week series would know that I’m always into what Diane is wearing.  The girl just truly doesn’t disappoint any fashion spectator.  This time around, she rocked a Swarovski embroidered cutsom faille dress from Jason Wu.  The designer altered his runway dress into a sexy mini for the actress and I really like the shorter hem – I think it works a lot better than the runway version.  I’m also digging the embellished embroidered shoulders and the color combo.

camilla belleCamilla Belle is also another fashion favorite.  She went with one of my favorite colors this time – green.  I think that the color looks great on her skintone.  The asymmetrical dress with cascading ruffles from the Max Azria Resort 2010 looked effortlessly chic.  The actress definitely stood out at the Whitney Art Party.

taylor swift

Like me, Taylor Swift seems to have a penchant for sparkly dresses.  So it wasn’t much of a surprise when she showed up to the CMT Music Awards in this Collette Dinnigan Resort 2009 dress.  The mini dress had a flapper feel to it – I love 20s inspired fashion.  The singer brought the sparkliness down all the way to her feet with a pair of Prada jeweled platform heels.  The only thing I didn’t like about the look was her hair – I wish she did something else with it.
