Hilary Swank got her hair done by Hollywood stylist Robert Vetica, who was inspired by the lines of her champagne-colored Versace gown and the hairstyles of iconice 60′s Hollywood siren and Bond girl, Ursula Andress.

1. Blow dry hair using Moroccanoil Treatment to instantly condition and for a natural-looking shine

2. After hair is completely dried, curl 1″ by 1″ of hair, starting at the nape. Pin curls.

3. Spray Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and let it sit for 20 minutes

4. Remove pins and brush.

5. Run a small amount of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream through hair

6. Backcomb at the roots and spray again

7. Brush out most of the backcombing except at the crown, running fingers through the hair to loosen it up. Backcomb a bit more at the crown, spray, and lightly brush over the top.

1. Apply Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Volume Styling Whip throughout hair

2. Roughly blow dry hair with hands until it is almost dry

3. Using a round brush, blow dry the rest of the hair straight so that it’s smooth and soft

4. Curl hair with a 1 ¼ inch curling iron

5. Apply a combo of Frederic Fekkai Coiff Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray and Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Cream for a full and sexy texture

Mom-to-be Natalie Portman sported a sophisticated and fresh ponytail to the 2011 People’s Choice Awards. Here’s how hairstylist John D created the look:

1. Prep towel dried hair by spraying Phyto Phytovolume Actif at the root to build some lift

2. Emulisify equal parts Phyto 7 and Phyto Professional Glossing Cream (about a pea size of each) in palms and run it through to the ends.

3. Blow dry hair

4. Section hair into 1″ and each section with a 3/4″ Enzo Milano Curling Iron, concentration on getting a lift at the roots

5. Lightly mist with Phyto Professional Workable Holding Spray

6. Give a quick comb with fingers

7. Section out a small top section to be pulled back

8. Pull hair into a ponytail

9. After securing the ponytail, release the top section. Maintaing lift and parted slightly to the side.

10. Use remaining length from the top section to wrap and conceal the elastic band

11. Finish with a spray of Phyto Professional Workable Holding Spray

Here’s how to get the look:

It’s a great fall hair style, since your summer highlights will already be growing out. It’s also very low maintenance, which is good for your wallet and the current economic climate.
