Eeek!  Only an hour until the premiere of Project Runway season seven.  Last season was so meh, I’m hoping this one won’t disappoint.  One thing for sure is there’s gonna be at least one different thing on Project Runway - it’s getting a tech-over!  The contestants will be using a digital sketchpad in the form of the coveted HP Touchsmart tm2 instead of the regular sketch pad.  I’m jealous, I want a tablet notebook!

Project Runway premieres tonight at 10 pm with Nicole Richie as guest judge.

We may just be a fashion and beauty blog, superficial to most, especially with all the horrible things in our world, but we would like to urge every one of our readers to please help Haiti.  Everyone in Haiti needs our help right now, so let’s do what we can.

What would you do if you won a million euro?  Invest?  Spend it on all sorts of fabulous stuff?  Or spend it something ridiculous?  Well a UK girl went with the ridiculous option.

A man in the UK recently won 2 million euros in the lottery.  He gave half of his winnings – that’s a million euro or $1,447,103.41 to us on the other side of the Atlantic – to his daughter who proceeded to make a dress with every single bill and stitched in.

Is this for real?  If it is, then it’s just sad.  It’s not like they’re filthy rich and have billions laying around, no they won the lottery.  I’m sure in this economic environment, she could have put it to much better use.

So she now has a million euro dress, what about shoes, clutch, and jewelry?  Are they gonna be made of money as well?

Pantone, the color authority, has declared that turquoise will be the color of the year for 2010.  ”[Turquoise] is believed to be a protective talisman, a color of deep compassion and healing, and a color of faith and truth, inspired by water and sky,” Pantone’s Leatrice Eiseman said in a statement.

Personally, I love turquoise and not just because it’s my birthstone.  The color is just so soothing.  I’m excited to see more turquoise pop up this year.

In just a few days, 2010 will be upon us.  A new year and a new decade.  And you know what that means.  It’s resolution season!  My biggest resolution would be to take better care of myself, especially my skin.  Preventive measures are always key!

Are you making any resolutions this year?  If so, speak up and share in the comments below.

spongebobKarl Lagerfeld gave the lovable sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea a makeover.  The figurine recently sold at a WWF fundraiser in Paris for €1,000 (that’s about $1,500).  What do you think of the made-over SpongeBob SquarePants?

barbie by christian louboutin

Growing up, like lots of little girls, I played with Barbies.  I had a ton of them, I mean a ton!  And I had all the accessories – lots of clothes, shoes, and purses as well as the Barbie Dream House, Townhouse, Pool, Jeep, Ferrari, and the list goes on.  I was kinda a girlie girl, but I was also a tomboy – I roughhoused with the boys, climbed trees, played with toy guns – basically I was and still am a contradiction.  Anyways, I’m digressing.

Given my penchant for Barbie and fabulous Christian Louboutins, I was excited to hear about the collaboration.  Christian Louboutin has collabroated with Barbie to create three limited edition dolls.  The first of the three dolls, Cat Burglar Barbie by Christian Louboutin has just arrived at Net-a-Porter.  Barbie is decked out in a black catsuit and Differa sandals.  She comes with a total of four red-soled Christian Louboutins, each with their own shoe bag and box.  I’m kinda jealous, I don’t even have a pair of Christian Louboutin and Barbie has four!  It’s not fair!

This will definitely make a great gift for the fashionista in your life.  Cat Burglar Barbie retails for $150.
