Makeup Breakdown: Vanessa Hudgens at the Neutrogena’s Waves for Change Event

Vanessa Hudgens rocked a golden, bronzey look at the Neutrogena’s Wave for Change event in Malibu. Vanessa wanted her makeup to be “golden and whimsical” and makeup artist Karan Mitchell did just that. It was a really lovely look, and absolutely perfect for the summer. Here’s how to get the look:

SKIN

- Neutrogena Healthy Defense Liquid Moisturizer Spf 50

FACE

- a little bit of liquid foundation

- Neutrogena Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush & Bronzer in Natural Glow – use the bronze shade on the cheeks and under the cheekbones for contour

EYES

- undereye concealer

- Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Quad in Butter Crème - using the peach shade as a base, apply it all over the lid, up to the brow

- Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Quad in Copper Glow - apply the copper shade onto the lid; dampen brush and apply the golden shade to the middle and the inside corners

- black eyeliner along the upper lid

- two coats of black mascara

LIPS

- Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick with SPF 20 in Peach-a-Boo

- layer a peach gloss on top for a shinny effect

Jennifer Aniston brought her California bronze to London when she flew in to debut her new fragrance at Harrods. Makeup artist Angela Levin was inspired by Jen’s Valentino dress and summertime and went with a pink and mauve palette as well as a dewy feeling. Here’s the breakdown:

SKIN

- prep skin with a hydrating cream on both face and underneath the eyes

FACE

- Chanel Powder Blush in Plum Attraction

EYES

- Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Enigma – use the pinke shade on the lid, the bronze, silver, and plum in the crease

- Using black powder shadow, a skinny liner brush, and a bit of water, stain between the eyelashes. Blink to stain the bottom lashes a bit. This is a little less harsh than a pencil.
