I immediately got the Addams Family theme song stuck in my head when I learned about Essie’s Morticia’s Nails Collection ($30). The collection celebrates The Addams Family Musical starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth that is currently playing on Broadway. All proceeds will benefit The Actors Fund, a nonprofit organization that helps professionals in performing arts and entertainment by providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis, or transition.

I don’t think that I’ve worn glitter nail polish since high school, but after looking at the swatches, I’m really into Mad as a Hatter and Absolutely Alice.  Mad as a Hatter reminds me of Lippmann Happy Birthday Nail Polish, but with smaller, round micro-glitter.  The glittery nail polish are perfect for the collection, because it’s so whimsical, it’s fits perfectly with the movie.  But unfortunately, the reds were a bit disappointing.  The reds are nice, don’t get me wrong, but there’s nothing particularly special about them.  And why do we need two reds?  One red would have sufficed.

Each nail polish retails for $8.50.  The collection is also available in an OPI Alice In Wonderland Mini Nail Lacquer Set ($10).
