Doesn’t it seem like more and more young women are concerned about aging? I mean there are people in their twenties getting Botox and fillers – heck there are even teens doing it. I’ll admit that when I was on my teens I was somewhat concern about aging more than my friends were. I didn’t do anything drastic – I just wore sunblock because I was afraid of getting wrinkles. But I wasn’t religious about it – to be honest, I forgot to wear sunblock more times than not, but I did wear it more than my peers did. Now that I’m in my twenties, I’m still concern with aging more than most of my friends, not to the point of getting fillers, but I make sure to wear sunblock and I do use some anti-aging products. Sometimes I do wonder if the products are really doing anything for me at this age, but I tell myself that it’s for preventative measures and that I’ll thank myself one day. I must be doing something right, considering the fact that a lot of people think I’m a sophomore in high school – however, I think my Asian genes do factor in a lot.
Anyways my obsession with slowing down the aging process is why I find Mitch McCabe’s documentary, Youth Knows No Pain, so intriguing. The film explores our society’s relationship to aging. She interviews cosmetic surgeons, Botox babes, all the while giving her own smart introspective views. It is also interesting to note that McCabe is the daughter of a plastic surgeon. It looks like a smart, funny, and intriguing film. Youth Knows No Pains premieres tonight on HBO at 9 pm – so don’t forget to set your DVR.

So-Cal beauty, Rachel Bilson, knows the importance of SPF as well as getting a summery glow, that’s why she’s all for Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer (plus she’s also their spokesperson). Here are her summer skincare essentials:
Rachel Weisz is gorgeous. I mean, just look at that skin! I’m envious.

And before every red carpet event, Rachel sweeps onDior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen around her eyes. As for the occasional redness? Rachel hides it withLaura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer.
Oh, and she also said that she doesn’t “set foot in the sun without a big hat,” in order to maintain her coveted porcelain complexion.
noneIt’s heating up outside again. You know what that means, it’s time to bust out the SPF! Although, I should mention that you should slathering on SPF everyday regardless of whether the sun is out or not, since UV rays can go through clouds. Remember UV exposure is the number one cause of skin damage, wrinkles, discolorations, and not to mention skin cancer! That’s why sun safety is so important.

Salma Hayek recently revealed that she is developing her very own anti-aging skincare line. The line is inspired by her grandmother, Maria Luisa, who at 96, didn’t have any wrinkles. ”My grandmother was a cosmetologist and she used to make her own creams…when she died at 96, of course her skin had sagged, but she didn’t have any wrinkles. She made her own creams using secret ingredients you can only find in Latin America,” explained Salma.
Sounds intriguing. But if you’re thinking that Salma’s line will be expensive, then don’t fret cause it will be affordable and will be sold in drugstores.
