Sandra Bullock looked gorge in an embroidered lace and metallic Mearchesa sheath.  She embodied class and elegance, a glamourous Old Hollywood feel.  The dress complements the little golden statue that she brought home wonderfully.  It was her big night after all, and she looked wonderful!

Rachel McAdams looked breathtakingly romantic in a strapless Elie Saab Spring 2010 gown.  We love the sweetheart neckline and the beautiful muted print.  We don’t really see prints at the Oscars, so this was a nice surprise.  Love, love, love it!  She looked like a modern day fairy tale princess.

Meryl Streep doesn’t usually go all out for the red carpet, but on Sunday night she looked radiant in a white gown by Project Runway alum Chris March.  The dress was elegant and classy, perfect for Meryl.

Cameron Diaz brought the glitz and glamour to Oscars.  She looked beautiful in a champagne tulle Oscar de la Renta gown embellished with gold paillette embroidery.  She looked stunning, one of the best looks Cameron ever rocked on the red carpet.

Kate Winslet also rocked an Old Hollywood vibe with a column Atelier Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati ensemble.  Very elegant.

Hurray, Penelope Cruz wasn’t wearing a black gown!  Nope, instead of her usual black gown, Pene went with a beautiful burgundy Donna Karan.  Loves it!

It was nice to see Kristen Stewart a little more glam than usual in a custom-made Monique Lhuillier gown.  But she stayed true to herself with a dark and moody midnight blue hue.  We also love her hair and makeup.  All in all, it’s a nice change from what we usually see K-Stew in!

Like Rachel McAdams, Maggie Gyllenhaal also opted for a print, but Maggie’s was much more bold.  The hand painted Dries van Noten strapless dress was perfect for the quirky actress.

We love Demi Moore’s Atelier Versace gown!  It was stunning.  But we do have one qualm about the color, we just think that the blush tone matched her skin tone a little too much, to the point of washing her out a bit.

…The Bad…

We like that color of the dress.  We even like the cascading bottom half of the Marchesa dress.  But we don’t like the top half, and we don’t get the look over all.  We’re also not loving Vera Farmiga’s updo, it ages her too much.

What is Sarah Jessica Parker wearing?  We know a lot of people who love the satin yellow Chanel Spring 2010 Couture gown, but it’s not our cup of tea.  It’s just so shapeless.

It pains us to put Diane Kruger on the worst dressed list.  Anyone who reads this site regularly, who know that we’re fans of Diane Kruger’s fashion sense.  So naturally, we had high hopes for seeing Diane on the Oscar red carpet.  We’re just not digging this Chanel Fall 2009 Couture gown at all.  The floral embellishment in the middle is really unflattering.  Sigh, we’re sad…we guess, it was bound to happen sooner or later, no one can hit it out of the park every time.

Charlize Theron is another actress who’s style we usually enjoy, but we’re not so into this two-tone pink Christian Dior Spring 2010 Couture gown.  The thing that jumps out at us every time we see the dress are the strategically placed rosettes on the bust.  The dress would have been much better without the “rose boobs.”

Anna Kendrick’s blush colored Elie Saab Couture gown is pretty, but it washes her out too much.  She should have gone with a different color – or gotten a spray tan.  She originally choose a blue dress, but opted for this one instead – she should have gone with the blue.  Anna’s hair also wasn’t looking too great.  We don’t know if it was due to the rain or the styling, but that hairdo is not working for her at all.

You know, we really don’t want to rag on Miley Cyrus, the champagne Jenny Packham gown is actually pretty…BUT the fit wasn’t right.  The bustier part of the dress looked like it was one to two sizes to small.  And her bad posture murdered the look.  The tan lines also didn’t help.  And lastly, the hair wasn’t doing it either.  If only she would have had the dress properly fitted, even out her tan, did something different with her hair, and stand up straight, then she would have looked great.

…& The Blah

We can’t decide whether we like Jennifer Lopez’s Armani Privé Spring 2010 gown or not.  If you look closely at the pale pink iridescent material, it kinda looks like bubble wrap or some sort of packaging material.  The dress was dramatic, but we don’t know if it was too much dress or not.  And once again, the hair wasn’t working, but I’m betting that the frizziness is due tot he rain.

A lot of people are ragging on Zoe Saldana’s Givenchy Spring 2010 Couture gown, and a lot of people are raving about it.  We’re not too sure about it, we love the bottom purple ombre ruffles, but we’re not loving the jeweled bodice.

Surprise, surprise Carey Mulligan is wearing Prada.  We like the Swarovski encrusted bodice, but we’re not fans of the slight mullet hemline.
