Angelina Jolie wore a black velvet L’Agence tux to a special Marie Claire sponsored screening of In the Land of Blood and Honey. David Yurman gold earrings and bracelet finished the luxurious look.

Angelina Jolie was out in New York promoting her new movie, In the Land of Blood and Honey, wearing a white Stella McCartney ensemble. She accessorized her winter white outfit with a pair of nude Ferragamo pumps and Ralph Lauren ‘Bedford’ bag.

For her directorial debut, Angelina Jolie stuck with her signature color…black. For the New York premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey, Angelina wore a Joseph cold shoulder top paired with a pleated Ralph Lauren skirt. She topped off the black ensemble with a gold Ofira necklace.

Angelina Jolie and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge both wore a Jenny Packham silk draped dress. Angelina wore the dress during the Tree of Life premiere in Los Angeles back in May, while Kate wore it earlier this week for a charity dinner at St. James’s Palace. Angelina Jolie attended the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival in Bosnia where she accepted the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award for bringing attention to the country’s refugees. The actress wore a rust-colored Elie Saab Spring 2011 blouson gown with a high slit and nude Jimmy Choo peep-toes. The gown was the same silhouette that Angelina seems to favor, but at least it wasn’t her typical black. She kept her hair straight, her lips nude and glossy, and accessories at a minimal, wearing only a gold bracelet and carrying a nude clutch.

The First Lady of the United States wowed at the state dinner honoring Chinese President Hu Jintao. Michelle Obama looked glamourous in red petal print gown from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 collection. The gown was a gorgeous statement piece. The dramatic hue also paid homage to the Chinese culture where red signifies auspiciousness. The First Lady added to the drama of the dress with a chic updo and one-of-a-kind Kimberly McDonald earrings.

OMG! Angelina Jolie isn’t wearing black! Angelina Jolie isn’t wearing a neutral color! She’s actually wearing a jewel tone! She looked amazing in the emerald Atelier Versace gown. Very Old Hollywood. The open back gown was covered with Swarovski crystals. She looks stunning. She should really wear jewel tones more often.

Olivia Wilde was breathtaking in a sparkly Marchesa gown. The sequin tulle dress was befitting of the red carpet. And even though I feel like I’ve seen Olivia in this princessy silhouette before, I’m still digging the look. I like that the gown was chocolate instead of black. I like that she kept her hair natural – it was a nice juxtaposition to such a dramatic dress. However, I wasn’t a fan of the shoes. I like the Christian Louboutin ‘Bridget’s Back’ gold ankle boots, I just don’t like it with the dress. The shoes kinda ruined the look. Overall, though, I love the look (minus the shoes, that is). I would love to have that chocolate brown gown with gold embroidered sequins hanging in my closet. Would someone at Marchesa please send me one?

During the 2011 Golden Globe Awards telecast, the camera caught Angelina Jolie reapplying her lip gloss. Are you curious what lip gloss La Jolie was using?
