The Look:
“I wanted to create an exotic look that had the mood of a woman on a tropical holiday, ready to explore something new after a morning on the beach. Her hair looks natural, healthy, straight and clean – but I’ve given it a bit of subtle drama, with texture only on the top of the hair and back from the face. The rest of the strands fall free. The texture was inspired by markings on tropical leaves. It’s relaxed yet sophisticated, perfect for a casual day or a dressed summer night.” — Odile Gilbert

“The key to this ethereal look is the play on light and reflection and the striking radiance that results from both. There is minimal color involved, but the overall metallic effect makes this look both wearable and highly fashionable at the same time.” — Lucia Pieroni, Color Creator of Cle de Peau Beaute

“We wanted the girls to be vibrant and happy and chose to highlight the face with rich green shades on the eye. The jewel-tones just pop and compliment the entire collection. It’s a great way to lighten up the traditional smoky eye for spring.” — Gucci Westman

Inspiration:
“The look is very reminiscent of Angelica Houston in the 70s-the bleached brows and the deep eyes. I wanted them to look like iconic models from the 70s with a modern approach. Marc had images of what he wanted the makeup to look like – mimicking the colors of the clothing but not matching exactly.” — François Nars
